Role Overview

As a Lounge Host, reporting to the Team Leader, you will be a vital part of the team ensuring guest expectations are exceeded, leaving our lounges feeling Welcome, Relaxed & Energised.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

All hosts will be multi-skilled and operate throughout the lounge, including:

Reception
  • Providing a warm and friendly welcome, efficient check-in, and setting the scene for a re-energising experience.
  • Answering guest questions and directing them appropriately.
  • Managing capacity during peak times to maximize throughput.
  • Wishing guests farewell to encourage return visits.
Food and Beverage
  • Ensuring all food and beverage offerings are available and well presented.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in self-service and bar areas.
  • Preparing food according to sessional menus, including vegetarian and vegan options.
  • Engaging with guests while serving drinks and providing dietary and allergen information.
  • Replenishing stock as needed.
General Host
  • Clearing and cleaning tables after guest departure.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Responding to guest inquiries with high-quality customer service.
Back of House
  • Assisting with stock delivery and rotation.
  • Following recycling procedures.
  • Loading/unloading dishwashers and restocking crockery.
  • Maintaining hygiene standards across all areas.

Additional duties may be assigned by local leadership and will vary based on location and guest needs.

Qualifications
  • Experience in hospitality or customer service with high customer interaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with computers, including payment systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts between 03:30 and 21:00, 7 days a week.
  • Additional language skills are desirable.
