To keep our operations network secure and ensure operational continuity, we are looking for hands-on and detail-oriented professionals to join us as Loss Prevention Specialists. In this role, you will provide security services across our operational sites within the end-to-end supply chain to protect our people and prevent loss.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Support resilience of our business operations by contributing to emergency and crisis planning for sites within your area of responsibility.
  2. Identify vulnerabilities related to loss, associate experience, and process inefficiencies, and define appropriate mitigating actions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  3. Act as the point of contact for and coordinate risk management measures with local management and external parties such as law enforcement agencies and industry associations.
  4. Ensure compliance of your assigned sites with Amazon's global security standards.
A day in the life

As a Loss Prevention Specialist, you will join a team of security professionals providing security services to various business units within a designated geographical area. Your responsibilities include conducting physical security audits, investigating policy violations, security incidents, and loss events.

During investigations, you will monitor systems, analyze data reports, and conduct interviews to gather information. Your findings will help identify vulnerabilities, leading to the development of mitigation strategies. You will also maintain the physical integrity of our sites by auditing systems and collaborating with subject matter experts and external suppliers to ensure their functionality.

You will interact regularly with external security service providers to ensure high-quality security service delivery and a positive customer experience. Additionally, you will serve as a point of contact for internal departments such as legal, HR, and local law enforcement, and provide security and loss prevention education and awareness programs across teams and management levels.
