About the role

As a Loss Prevention Partner (LPP) in our Profit Protection team, you'll contribute to the efficiency and profitability of the shop where you are based and be an essential part of the team. Your responsibilities will include investigating trends, reporting on key themes regarding shrinkage to protect profits, patrolling the shop floor to deter theft, and monitoring CCTV for suspicious behaviour.

Note: You must be 18 or older to work in this role. The position requires working on a rota, including evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a point of contact for branch Profit Protection issues, escalating as needed.
  • Mitigate risks of harm to Partners and Customers.
  • Manage shrinkage performance within set budgets and risk appetite.
  • Address all aspects of shrinkage, including dishonesty, procedural failures, and administrative errors.
  • Support and coach Partners on shrinkage minimisation and procedure compliance.
  • De-escalate conflicts professionally and, if necessary, detain or ban offenders.
  • Assist with investigations as required.
Essential Skills/Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in resolving conflicts.
  • Attention to detail to identify profit loss trends.
  • Good customer service and relationship-building skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience
  • Experience in loss prevention and customer-facing roles is beneficial but not essential, as full training is provided.
Working Hours

Full-time (37.5 hours/week) with varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and potentially alternate weekends.
