About the role:

We are looking for a Loss Prevention Officer to join the Loss Prevention team!

Working within our Loss Prevention team, you’ll support the provision of a safe and secure working and shopping environment, providing a uniformed presence to protect company assets and minimize loss.

This position is based in Bournemouth.

You will:

  • Help our stores feel safe and secure places to work and shop.
  • Work closely with Store Teams and build strong relationships with local police.
  • Identify high-risk areas and act as a deterrent on the shop floor.
  • Engage with store management to ensure Company LP standards are maintained.
  • Perform duties such as Out of Hours surveillance, LP auditing, and support at other stores, including attending department meetings.

About you:

  • Previous security experience in retail is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • Flexible and willing to work across different stores and hours.
  • Travel required to cover stores within a reasonable distance from your home.
  • Committed to ensuring the safety of store teams and customers.
  • Well-organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hardworking, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Confident communicator capable of building relationships with store teams, police, and customers.
  • Fully flexible to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and evenings.
  • Comfortable with using IT systems; computer skills are a plus but not essential.
