Job summary

Avivas Major Loss Team seeks an experienced field-based loss adjuster to join the UK7s leading insurer. You will handle high-value domestic claims with empathy and technical precision, typically around 80000, from cradle to grave.

Qualifications

• High-Value claims handling with EM path ownership and sensitivity.
• Subrogation, underwriting practices and ABI report writing knowledge.
• Knowledge of building practices and regulations for property reinstatement.
• Customer-centric approach throughout cradle-to-grave claims handling.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with empathy.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end high-value domestic claims with a focus on complex file handling.
• Apply insurance principles and subrogation where appropriate.
• Prepare ABI reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers on building reinstatement and tendering processes.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and clear communication throughout the life of a claim.

If you're someone with field-based loss adjusting experience and you have a proven track record of handling high-value, complex domestic claims with empathy and technical precision, we want to hear from you!

Skills and experience we're looking for:

High-Value Claims Experience: Ideally, you have experience with claims around £100,000, but we're happy to consider those with experience over £50,000.

Professional Growth: A minimum qualification of Cert CII or CILA is required, and if you're aiming for Dip CII, that's fantastic! But don't worry, it's not a must.

Technical Know-How: Your deep understanding of insurance principles, subrogation, underwriting practices, and ABI report writing will be highly valued.

Building Practices Insight: Knowledge of building practices and regulations for property reinstatements and tendering processes is a big plus.

Customer Focus: You have a proven track record of managing claims from cradle to grave, always keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront.
