Aviva’s Major Loss Team is expanding across the UK. As a Major Loss Field Adjuster, you’ll manage high-value domestic property claims from instruction through to completion, meeting customers face-to-face and guiding them through a stressful period with confidence and expertise.

This field-based role offers cradle-to-grave claims management, a focus on customer outcomes, cost-effectiveness, and opportunities for professional development within a supportive Aviva environment.

Qualifications

• Experience handling high‑value domestic property claims (around £50k+ to £100k+).
• Minimum qualification of Cert CII or CILA; Dip CII is a plus but not required.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles, subrogation, underwriting practices, and ABI report writing.

A Bit About The Job

As a Major Loss Field Adjuster, you will manage high‑value domestic property claims from instruction through to completion, delivering exceptional customer outcomes and cost‑effective resolutions. This is a field‑based role, meeting customers face‑to‑face and guiding them through what can often be a stressful period with confidence, empathy and expertise. We are recruiting for multiple positions across the UK, offering the freedom and trust to manage your claims cradle to grave wherever you are based. In doing so, you’ll play a key role in delivering Aviva’s promise of being “With you today, for a better tomorrow.”

Skills And Experience We’re Looking For

• High-Value Claims Experience: Ideally, you have experience with claims around £100,000, but we’re happy to consider those with experience over £50,000.
• Professional Growth: A minimum qualification of Cert CII or CILA is required, and if you’re aiming for Dip CII, that’s fantastic! But don’t worry, it’s not a must.
• Technical Know-How: Your deep understanding of insurance principles, subrogation, underwriting practices, and ABI report writing will be highly valued.
• Building Practices Insight: Knowledge of building practices and regulations for property reinstatements and tendering processes is a big plus.
• Customer Focus: You have a proven track record of managing claims from cradle to grave, always keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront.
