Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is currently recruiting an experienced telehandler driver for a long-term contract on a major commercial project in Bishop Auckland. You will work closely with the Site Manager and logistics team to ensure material movements and lifts are performed safely and on schedule.

The role requires a valid CPCS/NPORS Telescopic Handler card, proven site experience, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• CPCS or NPORS Telescopic Handler card required.
• Solid experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
• Full PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, steel‑toe boots) essential.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Strong commitment to health and safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a telescopic handler across a busy construction site.
• Unloading deliveries and staging materials and equipment.
• Assisting sub-contractors and trades with lifts.
• Carrying out daily pre-use checks and logging inspections.
