Job summary

Academics seeks enthusiastic mathematics teachers for a long-term role beginning in September 2026 in the Vale of Glamorgan. The position may lead to a permanent contract and offers a daily pay scale aligned with the national teaching pay scale (£173–£260 per day).

You will plan and deliver lessons, build strong pupil relationships, and monitor progress through regular assessments, with a straightforward registration process and an internal contact at Academics.

Qualifications

• QTS is required to teach in the UK.
• DBS clearance is required (can be processed through us).
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council is required (can be processed through us).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective schemes of work.
• Establish relationships with pupils quickly.
• Use regular assessments to monitor pupil progress.
