Job description

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Haematologist to join our NHS client for up to 18 months, working a total of 4 PAs per week. This role will be based on-site in the South West of England.

Offering flexible schedule of 2 days a week cover required (Monday + Thursday or Thursday + Friday, negotiable).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Paraprotein Clinic: Thursday AM – 1 PA
  2. General Clinics & Haemoglobinopathy: Monday/Friday AM – 1 PA
  3. DCC Paraprotein Admin, Cinapsis/Lab/Referrals: Thursday PM – 1 PA
  4. DCC Admin, Cinapsis/Lab/Referrals, Own Morphology Reporting: Monday/Friday PM – 1 PA
  5. Lab Reporting & Liaison Haematology: Essential responsibility for the vacating consultant’s patients.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Clinical expertise in transfusion, general haematology, paraprotein, and haemoglobinopathies.
  2. Ability to cover the clinical and administrative duties across the specified clinics.
  3. Flexibility and commitment to ensuring continuity of care for patients.
