Long-term Secondary School Cover Supervisor Needed in South Birmingham.

Start date: September 2025 - August 2026 (1 year contract)

TeacherActive is working with a fantastic school in South Birmingham that is looking to employ a long-term Cover Supervisor for general cover within the school, starting in September. The teacher will be required to cover a wide range of subjects and must be comfortable following directions from class teachers both verbally and in writing. Strong behaviour management skills are essential, as you will ensure pupils adhere to rules and follow lesson plans effectively.

There is flexibility for both full-time and part-time work at the school. Please specify your preference during application.

As a Supply Teacher/Cover Supervisor, the following qualifications are required:

• Strong classroom management skills
• At least 6 months experience within an educational setting
• Ability to cover various subject areas
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum
• A passion for teaching and making a difference
