Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV drivers for an operation based in Stallingborough, UK.

You will drive modern Class 1 (C+E) vehicles across the UK, handle a variety of freight, complete checks, and maintain safety while delivering to customer sites. The role is long-term temporary with a £17.50 hourly rate, 40–50 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, start times around 6am.

Qualifications

• Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence and qualification
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Understanding of UK road networks
• Willingness to undertake overnight stays

Responsibilities

• Drive modern Class 1 (C+E) vehicles across the UK
• Carry a variety of freight and loads
• Deliver to customer sites across the UK
• Complete vehicle checks and maintain safety standards
• Secure and transport loads per company procedures
• Complete delivery paperwork and tachograph records accurately
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers
• Comply with UK driving legislation and drivers' hours
