Job description

We are seeking a 1-to-1 SEND teaching assistant to work in the Dudley area supporting a child with ADHD and severe autism. The student, although in Year 9, is working below this age and requires additional support to access the curriculum and build self-esteem. The role involves supporting him long-term on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 15:30, until July 2026.

Requirements and Preferences

1. Previous in-school experience is advantageous but not essential.
2. Enhanced DBS certificate (adult & child) on the update service or willingness to pay for a new DBS if successful.
3. Availability to work during term-time from 08:30 to 15:30.
