Job description

We are seeking a long-term, full-time SEND Teaching Assistant for an amazing mainstream primary setting in Erdington, the school is very well respected and has a settled & welcoming senior leadership team who invest in their staff, ensuring all staff feel part of the school’s fabric & community! In this role, you will be working Monday to Friday, within the school’s early years department, supporting two children who are both verbal but require additional support. This is a long-term role, enabling you to grow with the children’s progress in school with the support of the school’s amazing SEND department. This role will be starting full-time from September 2025 when the children start in-school, however the school are willing to take on staff earlier for the right applicant. Requirements: - - Previous experience working in nursery or primary / SEND school settings. - Full-time availability, to work 08:30 until 3:30 - An enhanced DBS on the update service / willingness to get a new DBS in process.
