Job summary

A transportation company in Windsor is seeking long haul truck drivers. Responsibilities include loading/unloading goods, operating trucks, performing vehicle inspections, and ensuring the safety of cargo. No prior experience needed as training will be provided. This is a full-time, permanent position offering $36.00 hourly for approximately 50 hours a week.

Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Calculate fixed assets and depreciation. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Perform brake adjustments. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Experience: Will train.
