Home Delivery Driver - Long Distance - IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE

We are seeking experienced drivers to join our home delivery team.

As a long distance driver, you will be delivering all manner of items from Mattresses, sofas, flat pack furniture and much much more. You will work on your own or as part of a 2-person delivery team all over the country.

This is a driving job with up to 15 deliveries per day. As the items are heavy, you need to physically fit.

Based in Huddersfield, you will be willing to depart our depot at 5:30am to complete your routes. You will be involved in the delivery of items to customer homes as well as the collection of items for return to our depot. Routes are planned over 2 days with an overnight stay required.

A typical route could see you head to Aberdeen, Penzance, Cardiff or Belfast depending on the deliveries we have planned.

It is important to note that you will be required to stay overnight away from home. However, we will provide you with a Premier Inn or Travelodge hotel and a nightly meal allowance.

This is a physical role that involves heavy lifting and delivering items to customers homes in a professional and friendly manner.

There may be some assembly of items required but this usually amounts to a couple of screws of clips - we do not assemble flat pack furniture or install any appliances.

We have several shift patterns available for up to 45 hours per week and these will involve working occasional weekends.

Overtime is available for 2-person deliveries where you have met your weekly driving hours.
