The Role of a Fire and Security Small Works Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire and Security Small Works Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the field team, you will be responsible for carrying out small works across fire and security systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick up small works orders raised by the service team and ensure repairs comply with British Standards.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on fire alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including reports on system status and issues.
  • Complete all relevant documentation and reports.
  • Carry out work in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by providing excellent service.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Fire and Security Engineer.
  • Knowledge of fire and security systems, including relevant regulations and standards.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electrical systems and fire/security equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Flexible and willing to travel.
