Centre People Appointments in London is seeking a Trade Operation Associate to support pre- and post-trade processing, settlements and reconciliation, liaising with custodians, counterparties and prime brokers, and assisting audits and regulatory filings.

This is a hybrid, 6-month contract with a strong possibility of permanency based on performance; morning shift rota and the option to work from home on some days.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years in middle/back office within a securities broker or asset management environment is advantageous.
• Strong administrative skillset in sales operation or accounting is welcome with the right mindset.
• Understanding of trade life cycle and settlement procedures; attention to detail and ownership of deliverables.

Aufgaben

• Manage pre- and post-trade processing for equities and MTN.
• Work with custodians to resolve settlement queries and escalate issues.
• Liaise with counterparties and prime brokers on unsettled trades for timely settlement
• Complete daily reconciliations and end-of-day checklists
• Support audits, regulatory filings and operational due diligence processes
• Assist with account openings for securities with clients and prime brokers
