Job summary

Talan UK is seeking an experienced Front Office Trading Application Support Analyst to join a specialist team supporting a global Rates eTrading platform in London. The role focuses on production support, incident management, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced trading environment.

You will work closely with Traders, Sales and Development teams, applying strong Linux/Unix, SQL, and Python skills to ensure high platform availability and rapid issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Front Office trading application support experience in Investment Banking or Capital Markets.
• Experience managing high-severity production incidents and driving issues to resolution.
• Experience working with traders, sales, development and senior business stakeholders.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage Priority 1 and 2 incidents from identification to resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis and lead post-incident reviews.
• Coordinate with traders, sales and technology teams during major incidents.
• Monitor and support a suite of Rates eTrading applications in a global production environment.
• Develop automation and monitoring enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
