We specialise in Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) support across various industries, including Life Sciences, healthcare, retail, consumer, financial services, industrials, energy, and transportation.

Our Data & Analytics (D&A) practice helps clients solve complex commercial challenges through data-driven insights. The team delivers projects within our D&A service line and supports case teams across the business, enabling us to provide the best advice to our clients.

About the role:

We seek an experienced leader to oversee the growth of the European D&A Practice and develop L.E.K.'s D&A capabilities. The role involves developing and delivering D&A service line offerings, working with project teams on innovative solutions, and leading the D&A team to ensure high-quality outputs and growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing the European D&A Practice, aligning with global leaders, and developing new tools and techniques.
  2. Leading a multi-disciplinary D&A team effectively.
  3. Supporting the sale of D&A projects and developing client-facing offerings.
  4. Managing the delivery of complex D&A projects.

Practice management:

  • Developing and implementing the D&A strategy in collaboration with global teams.
  • Working with regional and functional management to optimize outcomes.
  • Overseeing D&A progress, outputs, and ensuring quality and budget adherence.
  • Ensuring D&A tools and partnerships meet company needs, informed by market intelligence.
  • Driving innovation and building team capabilities.
  • Leading D&A marketing and thought leadership initiatives.

Team development:

  • Ensuring team buy-in and delivery of D&A strategy.
  • Managing career paths and remuneration strategies.
  • Recruiting top talent in data science, analytics, and engineering.
  • Mentoring team members and supporting professional growth.

Sales support and service line development:

  • Designing market-ready D&A offerings and building capabilities.
  • Supporting sales efforts with materials and proposals.
  • Monitoring market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

Project delivery:

  • Acting as project manager or senior advisor on D&A projects.
  • Leading by example on complex projects involving new techniques or large data sets.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in data and analytics leadership within professional services.
  • Expertise in modern D&A tools and cloud solutions (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Python).
  • Proven track record in selling and delivering high-impact projects.
  • Experience in developing client-facing service lines and go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong strategic planning, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
