About the role:

We seek an experienced leader to grow the European D&A Practice and develop L.E.K.'s D&A capabilities. You will help develop and deliver our D&A offerings, work with project teams on innovative solutions, and lead the D&A team.

Our collaborative approach leverages a high-powered toolkit to underpin our recommendations.

The successful candidate will sell and deliver D&A projects, develop high-impact client solutions, and support L.E.K.'s broader business objectives by leading and developing the D&A team.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing the European D&A Practice, balancing priorities, and developing tools and techniques.
2. Building and leading an effective multi-disciplinary D&A team.
3. Supporting the sale and development of D&A projects and offerings.
4. Managing the delivery of complex D&A-centric projects.

Practice management:

• Develop and implement D&A strategy collaboratively with global leaders.
• Coordinate with regional and functional management to optimize outcomes.
• Oversee progress and quality of D&A outputs, ensuring alignment with targets and budgets.
• Ensure the D&A toolkit and partnerships meet organizational needs, informed by market intelligence.
• Drive innovation and build team capabilities.
• Lead D&A marketing and advocacy efforts, providing insights and viewpoints.

D&A team development:

• Ensure team buy-in to D&A strategy and facilitate its delivery.
• Manage career development and remuneration strategies.
• Recruit top talent in data science, analytics, and engineering.
• Mentor team members and support their growth.
• Oversee professional development programs.

Sales support and service line development:

• Collaborate on designing market-ready D&A offerings and building capabilities.
• Support sales efforts with materials, proposals, and pitches.
• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Project delivery:

• Act as project manager or senior advisor on D&A projects, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
• Lead by example, especially on complex projects involving new techniques or large data sets.

• Expertise in modern tools and cloud solutions (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Python).
