Job summary

Sanctuary Group is recruiting a Multi-Trade Operative for our London team. You will carry out repairs in void and tenanted properties, covering carpentry, plumbing and painting, often working alone but with support from the wider team when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject; if Plumbing Level 3 is required, provide original certification at interview.
• Able to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
• PC literate and able to use computerised systems (including PDA) for scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Attend occupied properties to carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties.
• Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice easily understood by the customer; maintain daily records.
• Resolve problems or initiate resolution; keep customers informed per processes and service specs.
• Maintain van stock and replenish as needed; ensure progress updates are clear to customers.
