We are looking for an experienced London Market Property Broker to place risks into the London Market
What can you expect?
  1. Ensure effective management and development of relationships with the London Market and Marsh branches.
  2. Achieve best terms for the client in line with the agreed Placement strategy.
  3. Place risks in accordance with the Marsh Placement strategy.
What will you be rewarded with?
  1. We offer and embrace a hybrid working model that nurtures a collaborative working environment in the office 3 days per week allowing 2 days per week to be spent working on a remote basis.
  2.   3. Generous Family Leave including: 6 months paid maternity leave, 4 months paid paternity leave, 6 months paid adoption leave plus shared parental leave options. To help ease the transition when you return to work you will be able to work 8 weeks at 80% of your normal work pattern and receive 100% of your normal salary.
We will rely on you to:
  1. Present and promote the use of London Market Risks to Marsh branches.
  2. Monitor and influence the transfer of business to the London Market Team.
  3. Develop and instigate LMR Team strategy.
  4. Place business into the London Market ensuring TCF and in accordance with the Marsh Placement strategy.
  5. Develop and maintain relationship with London Market Insurers.
  6. Attend client and prospect meetings where required.
  7. Work closely with Marsh branches and Regional Placement leaders to form placing strategy on individual risks.
What you need to have:
  1. Good interpersonal, negotiation, organisation, communication and planning skills.
  2. Excellent personal drive and self-motivation.
  3. IT literate.
  4. Thorough understanding of general insurance products.
  5. Experience in placing risks for all types of UK business.
  6. Ability to complete work to a high standard within strict timescales individually, and as part of a team.
  7. Progression towards Professional Insurance qualifications preferred.

  2. The ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required.
  3. Cert CII qualified and working towards ACII is desirable.
