Swiss Re in London seeks an experienced actuary to join the Life and Health Valuation team for the EMEA region. You will drive quarterly valuation and financial reporting, perform assumption reviews, and deliver insights across diverse markets.

The role requires 5+ years of L&H valuation or pricing experience, IFRS17 expertise, and strong Excel skills. It offers a hybrid work model with global collaboration and a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• Qualified or nearly qualified actuary with 5+ years of Life & Health valuation or pricing experience.
• Strong IFRS17 knowledge and actuarial modelling familiarity (EV/MCEV/Solvency II a plus).
• Proficient in MS Excel; experience with Power BI or database tools preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to influence across functions and deliver under tight timelines.

Responsabilités

• Support quarterly valuation processes on lines of business, ensuring smooth cashflow processing and IFRS17 reporting.
• Provide clear analysis and commentary on reserves, P&L movements, and assumption changes.
• Coordinate and manage technical manual overlays in the Reporting process with Finance and Operations teams.
• Support Assumption Reviews on select products, business plans, expenses & lag factors, and data KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members.
