Job summary

UBS in London invites penultimate or final year students to join our 2027 Summer Internship within UBS Evidence Lab. You'll learn how research analysts and investors use alternative data, and work with a global team to build innovative data solutions.

Throughout the 10-week program you will gain exposure to large structured and unstructured data, use SQL, R, Python, and advanced Excel, and be mentored by experienced colleagues. Successful interns may be considered for our Graduate Talent Program.

Qualifications

• Penultimate or final year of bachelor or master’s degree.
• On track for 2.1 or equivalent in their first undergraduate degree.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Fundamental understanding of financial statement analyses.
• Advanced Excel and SQL, R, Python preferred.
• Curious, team player with interest in finance.

Responsibilities

• Learn how research analysts and investors could incorporate alternative data products into their investment process.
• Collaborate with researchers, data engineers and analysts on building innovative data solutions.
• Transform large structured and unstructured data sets into actionable insights.
• Participate in day-to-day operations and be mentored by senior team members.
