Job summary

Open, a UK-based AI-powered insurance platform, is hiring for a hands-on Senior Engineer in London. You will build UK partner integrations, maintain live services, and ship changes in a lean, high-trust team with a nearby senior engineer.

You will join a small UK team, reporting to the Senior Full-Stack Engineer, and work across the partner journey, platform services, and infra to keep the system healthy in the region.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and operating production software shipped to real users.
• Full-stack capability: customer journey and service behind it.
• Comfort reading and extending someone else's codebase.
• Integration experience with external APIs and contracts.
• Strong Python and AWS production experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship UK partner integrations from requirements to live.
• Configure and extend the platform to meet partner needs.
• Maintain platform health in the region and participate in on-call duties.
• Collaborate with partner-facing colleagues, Product, TechOps and Solution Architecture.
