Job summary

A leading Principal Contractor in the Energy sector is recruiting a Commissioning Engineer Site Supervisor for its London site. This on-site, 6-month contract offers a competitive day rate, Outside IR35.

You will supervise commissioning activities, coordinate contractors and stakeholders, drive snag closure, and ensure QA/QC documentation supports project close-out. Strong safety awareness and RAMS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification, degree preferred.
• Experience as Commissioning Engineer and/or Site Supervisor on large-scale projects.
• Experience in Energy from Waste or similar complex industrial plants.
• Experience closing out projects with snagging and handover activities.
• Strong RAMS and on-site safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate commissioning activities within your system scope on site.
• Provide site supervision and coordinate contractors and stakeholders.
• Drive close-out of outstanding works and snag items to completion.
• Monitor progress, identify deviations and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Prepare QA/QC, turnover and handover documentation for close-out.
