Job summary

Howden Group is offering a 10-week Business Development Summer Internship in London, starting June 2027. You will join either Financial Institutions or Sport & Entertainment teams to work on live projects, identify client opportunities, and contribute to sales materials and outreach.

No prior insurance experience is required; you will be trained. The programme offers a clear path to Autumn 2028 graduate roles and a structured development experience.

Responsibilities

• Research potential clients across sectors related to the team and learn their priorities.
• Build understanding of how businesses operate and identify opportunities for Howden.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities suitable for Howden.
• Analyse new business opportunities by reviewing companies, spotting trends and client needs.
• Assist in preparing compelling sales materials, including client presentations and proposals.
• Support outreach to prospective clients via phone and email.
