Job summary

redfish solutions ltd, based in London, seeks a Technical Designer to apply Revit and AutoCAD to develop detailed drawings across RIBA stages and coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors.

You will produce construction drawings, schedules, and technical reports, while maintaining project documentation in line with British Building Regulations. The role offers progression within a supportive, internal-promotion oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience using AutoCAD & Revit.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Experience within the Traditional tender & build projects.
• Demonstrative experience with construction drawings, detailed drawings and schedules.
• Liaison with contractors (MEP & Joinery).
• Knowledge of current Building Regulations.
• Process oriented & self-disciplined.
• Proven track record of understanding design proposals and creating technical drawing packages.
• Ability to carry out building surveys and prepare technical documentation with guidance from Building Control.
• Confident attendance at site meetings and effective communication with clients and sub-contractors.
• Experience of measured building surveying.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Revit and AutoCAD to develop technical drawings across RIBA stages.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders for design accuracy.
• Create presentations and reports to support proposals.
• Maintain project documentation and adhere to standards and procedures.
• Coordinate design elements across disciplines and resolve clashes.
• Support site surveys and communicate findings to clients and subcontractors.
