Slate Studios, a leading Creative Production Company based in New York, is offering a 6-month maternity leave coverage role for a Senior Producer. This role is ideal for producers based in London who wish to work in New York and gain international experience.

Location: New York, NY (Applicants currently based in London, UK encouraged to apply)

Start Date: August 2025

Contract Duration: 6 months (September 2025 – March 2026)

About the Opportunity

This position offers the chance to work with globally recognized brands in the NYC market, suitable for UK or Europe-based producers seeking to broaden their experience in New York’s commercial production scene.

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• Valid visa or work authorization for the U.S.
• Dual citizenship (UK/US or EU/US) is a plus
• Ability to work as a local hire in NYC (secure own housing and transport)

Job Summary

As a freelance Senior Producer, you will oversee high-volume photo and video productions, manage logistics, coordinate crew, and ensure smooth operations from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead production for advertising, editorial, and branded content
• Manage timelines, budgets, call sheets, crew, and vendors
• Act as primary client contact
• Negotiate talent and vendor rates
• Track expenses and handle post-shoot wrap-up
• Collaborate with creative, production, and operations teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in high-end commercial photo/video production
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Budget management and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
