Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one additional language (Java, TypeScript or SQL).
• Experience developing and integrating APIs, microservices and event-driven apps.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering and AI agent frameworks.
• Experience with Apache Spark or similar data processing tech.
• Understanding of CI/CD, security and operational resilience.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies, containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience in Agile development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain AI-powered apps and agents using Python.
• Build and integrate APIs, MCP servers to connect AI apps with enterprise systems.
• Develop RAG pipelines: ingestion, embeddings, indexing and retrieval.
• Build data processing pipelines with Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Support ML models through MLOps pipelines and testing.
• Create user-facing AI interfaces, including streaming and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Implement CI/CD and automated testing to ensure quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimise performance and secure cloud-native apps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
