Starwood Capital Group is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join its global Sustainability team in London. The role supports sustainability programme management across US, EMEA and APAC portfolios, collaborating with acquisitions, asset management, investor relations, and legal/compliance teams.

The successful candidate will own workstreams, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to modernizing the operating model through technology and AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in sustainability, real estate, or related roles with global exposure.
• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using AI tools to improve research and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Programme Design: maintain RI policies and develop tools for investment professionals.
• Portfolio Integration: collaborate globally on due diligence and value creation initiatives.
• Data, Reporting and Investor Communications: own data collection, dashboards, and investor materials.
• Support engagement with current and prospective investors on sustainability approach.
