Job summary

Gensler in London is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to ensure accurate, scalable payroll processing across the UK, France, Germany and Spain. You will partner with HR, Finance and external vendors to implement payroll for new offices and support the Europe payroll process from the London office.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of payroll experience, fluency in English with French/Dutch/German skills preferred, and strong Excel/Workday expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 8+ years of relevant payroll experience including UK, France and Germany payroll, social benefits, pension, tax, etc.
• Proficiency in Excel, administration and analytical reasoning.
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn new tools and techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with varied deadlines as a self-starter.
• Experience with payroll implementation, timekeeping reconciliation and cash recon analysis is a plus.
• Reading, speaking and writing in French, Dutch and German is preferred.
• Knowledge of Workday and TMF Horizon preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process payroll for the UK, France, Germany, and Spain, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Keep abreast of payroll regulations and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with HR on data and compensation issues.
• Audit payroll records for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain payroll and timekeeping systems and ensure data integrity.
• Supervise at least one subordinate and verify reports are filed on time.
• Prepare management reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, year-end).
• Train staff on self-service access and pay stubs.
