Job summary

Siemens Gamesa is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator to support Onshore Wind operations across the UK & Ireland. You will manage spare parts inventory, coordinate shipments between suppliers and sites, and maintain records in SAP, ensuring accurate stock and timely deliveries.

You will work closely with site teams to support maintenance schedules, with a strong emphasis on inventory accuracy, process compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing spare parts inventory, warehouse operations, and materials coordination.
• Proficiency using SAP and warehouse management systems to maintain inventory accuracy and process transactions.
• Experience coordinating shipments and working with logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Strong focus on process compliance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage the storage, receipt, issuance, and return of spare parts, consumables, and materials within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts, stock audits, and discrepancy resolution.
• Ensure spare parts are stored safely, correctly identified, and readily accessible to support operational requirements.
• Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials to ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Coordinate the shipment and receipt of spare parts and materials between suppliers, warehouses, and operational sites.
• Prepare shipping documentation and ensure all logistics activities comply with company processes and regulatory requirements.
• Track shipments and proactively communicate delivery updates to support maintenance schedules and site operations.
• Liaise with freight providers and logistics partners to arrange efficient transportation solutions.
• Process inventory transactions including goods receipt, goods issue, and stock transfers using SAP and warehouse management systems.
• Generate inventory and logistics reports, providing insights to support operational decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
