Job summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking a Transportation Scheduler to manage day-to-day admin and operational support for the logistics team at Carrington, Manchester. You will arrange transportation for bulk and packed products, liaising with internal and external contacts to allocate stock and manage costs.

The role requires SAP experience, strong organisation, and coordination across UK, Europe and international destinations. Permanent, 37.5 hours/week, Mon-Fri, with own transport needed due to location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in shipping and warehousing.
• NVQ3 level in manufacturing or supply chain.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Schedule transportation requirements for bulk and packed products.
• Coordinate with Logistics Service Provider to optimise warehouse and shipping activities.
• Arrange customs documentation and SAP deliveries for customs activities.
• Coordinate booking of extra costs related to shipping (demurrage, surcharges).
• Liaise with hauliers to meet customer delivery dates and verify load timetables.
