About The Role
We ’re looking for a Logistics Transition Lead to join on a permanent basis working within our project team who are implementing a Transport Management System (TMS) into our Global Brands Supply operation .
You’ll be stepping into this role at a pivotal moment of strategic transformation, playing a vital role in shaping the future of our logistics function. We are in the midst of implementing a Transport Management System across our operations, a significant change programme and a major milestone in our journey towards our supply chain digitisation roadmap .
This role will be central to the delivery, embedding, and continuous development of the TMS, working closely with our Digital & Technology (D&T) teams and global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the main contact for customer delivery system management and order troubleshooting with 3rd party logistics providers.
Handle interface issues and error resolution between Diageo systems and 3PLs.
Support and shape the TMS product roadmap alongside D&T and logistics leadership.
Ensure compliance and governance of system standards , deliver training and guidance to end users.
Collaborate with global partners and the logistics strategy team to identify and deliver continuous improvements.
Monitor system performance and lead provider relationships in partnership with D&T and global procurement.
Provide technical and functional support to logistics te a m s across regions.
System Support & Development:
Lead or contribute to system analysis, configuration, testing, and implementation of new initiatives.
Translate business requirements into practical system solutions through fit-gap analysis and process design.
Support integration, data conversion, user training, and post-go-live support.
Develop UAT test plans and facilitate testing with end users.
Build and maintain the long-term system roadmap in alignment with logistics strategy.
About You
We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys driving meaningful change. With a strong understanding of logistics systems and processes, you bring a collaborative attitude and a passion for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with ERP systems (ideally SAP) and TMS platforms, along with a proven track record of delivering system-led change within a logistics setting.
We’re looking for someone who can bring the following:
Experience in logistics , supply chain or systems support, with hands-on experience implementing or managing ERP and TMS solutions
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex business needs into practical system solutions
Confidence working across multiple teams and stakeholders, including third-party providers and global colleagues
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to compliance, governance and process improvement
Comfortable working with data , able to analyse , report and use insights to inform decisions
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and support end users
A continuous improvement attitude, always looking for ways to enhance efficiency and user experience
Experience supporting or leading training, testing (UAT), and implementation activities is a plus
