About The Role

We’re seeking a Logistics Transition Lead to join our project team responsible for implementing a Transport Management System (TMS) into our Global Brands Supply operation. This role is crucial during a strategic transformation, shaping the future of our logistics function. You will be central to the delivery, integration, and ongoing development of the TMS, working closely with Digital & Technology (D&T) teams and global markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main contact for customer delivery system management and troubleshooting with 3rd party logistics providers.
  • Handle interface issues and resolve errors between Diageo systems and 3PLs.
  • Support and shape the TMS product roadmap with D&T and logistics leadership.
  • Ensure system compliance and governance, provide training and guidance to end users.
  • Collaborate with global partners and the logistics strategy team to identify and implement improvements.
  • Monitor system performance and manage provider relationships in partnership with D&T and procurement.
  • Provide technical and functional support to logistics teams worldwide.
System Support & Development
  • Lead or contribute to system analysis, configuration, testing, and implementation of new initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into practical system solutions through analysis and process design.
  • Support integration, data migration, user training, and post-launch support.
  • Create UAT test plans and facilitate testing with end users.
  • Maintain the system roadmap aligned with logistics strategy.
About You

We seek a candidate who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys driving change, and has a strong understanding of logistics systems. You should have experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and TMS platforms, with a proven record of delivering system-led improvements in logistics.

Ideal qualities include:

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or systems support, with hands-on ERP and TMS implementation or management experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to translate complex needs into solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively across teams and with stakeholders, including third-party providers and global colleagues.
  • Attention to detail, compliance, governance, and process improvement focus.
  • Data analysis skills to inform decisions.
  • Good communication and support skills for end users.
  • A mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Experience in training, testing, and implementation activities is advantageous.
