Job summary

Bpxglobal is seeking a senior Logistics Transformation Expert to join a large-scale transformation programme for an international client. The role blends deep logistics expertise with consulting and transformation programme experience, working closely with Director and VP level stakeholders.

The project is contracted until summer 2027 with an expected start in the next 2–3 weeks. On-site presence is approximately 1–2 days per week, with some remote work possible and locations including the UK

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain or logistics transformation.
• Strong expertise in warehousing, transportation and 3PL operations.
• Experience working directly with senior stakeholders at Director / VP level.
• Combination of in-house industry experience and consulting experience.
• Experience in QSR would be ideal; FMCG/retail/food service/consumer goods also considered.
• Network design experience would be an advantage.
• Ability to challenge, advise and defend recommendations in senior-level discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics transformation across warehousing, transportation, 3PL operations, distribution and network design.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders at Director and VP level to advise and defend recommendations.
• Work on a hands-on advisory basis within a large-scale transformation programme and coordinate with client locations in the UK and Amsterdam.

Logistics Transformation Expert / Senior Manager

We are looking for a senior Logistics Transformation Expert to join a large-scale transformation programme for an international client.

This is a hands-on senior advisory role for someone who combines deep logistics industry expertise with experience in consulting and transformation programmes. The successful consultant will work closely with senior client stakeholders at Director and VP level and will be expected to bring both strategic perspective and strong practical knowledge of logistics operations.

The project

The programme is already confirmed and currently contracted until summer 2027, with the consultant expected to join within the next 2-3 weeks.

The main focus will be on logistics transformation across areas such as:

3PL strategy and management

Warehousing

Transportation

Distribution and logistics operations

Network design - highly beneficial

The client operates in the QSR / food service environment, so previous experience within Quick Service Restaurants would be highly valuable. Experience from adjacent sectors such as FMCG, retail, consumer goods or food service will also be considered.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a senior profile at approximately Senior Manager / Director level, with:

10+ years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain or logistics transformation

Strong expertise in warehousing, transportation and 3PL operations

A combination of in-house industry experience and consulting experience

Experience working directly with senior stakeholders at Director / VP level

Ability to challenge, advise and defend recommendations in senior-level discussions

Strong commercial and operational understanding of logistics

Experience in QSR would be ideal

Experience in FMCG, retail, food service or consumer goods will also be considered

Network design experience would be an advantage

Working model

The role requires flexibility and regular presence at client locations.

Expected model:

approximately 1-2 days per week on-site

client locations may include both the UK and Amsterdam

remaining work can be delivered remotely depending on project requirements

The preference is for candidates based in the UK, although candidates based in Amsterdam can also be considered.

The ability and legal right to work in the UK is mandatory.
