Location: Tysley, Birmingham, UK | Shifts: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm/9am - 5pm
Salary: £12.60 per hour (rising after 12 weeks)
Thorn Baker is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team in Birmingham. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented and efficient individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for managing shipments, coordinating with suppliers and couriers, and ensuring smooth logistics operations.
Coordinate shipments, liaising with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams
Track and update the status of incoming and outgoing deliveries
Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory control
Maintain accurate records and contribute to KPI reporting
Handle discrepancies and process invoices/POs
Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
A positive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to work both independently and within a team
