Logistics Team Leader

Based at our Paddock Wood logistics hub in Kent (TN12 6UU), which benefits from great transport links across the region, a short walk from the station or free parking onsite.

Full time contract, working at the logistics hub Monday to Friday, with full flexibility required during peak trading season.

We’re looking for a hands-on Team Leader to support the Shift Manager in the daily operations of our warehouse. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment, leading a team to consistently deliver exceptional results.

You’ll work across key areas including inbound, inventory, outbound, and reverse logistics, taking on a variety of tasks while supporting your team. This diverse role offers the opportunity to use your excellent people skills to develop, coach, and empower your team for success.

The role
  1. Carrying out daily shift operations, supporting the shift manager in managing the end-to-end operation across all key functions.
  2. Plan and prioritize team workloads daily, creating and assigning work as required.
  3. Daily shift reporting and end of shift handovers to Shift or Senior Managers.
  4. Record and monitor KPI performance, coaching operatives to continually improve their performance and results.
  5. People management support such as attendance monitoring, return to work meetings, breaches recording and note taking.
  6. Ensure housekeeping and Health and Safety compliance at all times, acting as an ambassador for good H&S practice.
  7. Empower the team to make decisions and take ownership and responsibility for their actions.
  8. Be an ambassador for the brand and champion our Ann Summers values.
You'll be great if you:
  • Have solid warehouse experience, working on an operational shift within a fast-paced environment, ideally within Retail or Multi-channel environment.
  • Target orientated and service focussed approach.
  • A great people manager, with an ability to empower and coach a team.
  • Experience of working with systems and Microsoft suite.
  • Exposure and awareness of Health and Safety practices.
  • Loves to get stuck in and have a flexible approach to your work.
  • Have an affinity to the brand and our values.
