How will you make an impact?

Reporting into the Senior Logistics & Planning Manager you will lead by example for a team of up to 5 direct reports within the Lockerbie Creamery Dry Stores department. You will be responsible for inventory management, sourcing suppliers and maintaining SAP with up to date stock and purchasing data.

Other main responsibilities will include the following;

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors to ensure quality and cost effectiveness
  • Oversee goods-in and goods-out processes, ensuring proper documentation and handling. You will conduct regular audits and ensure accurate record keeping
  • Manage recruitment, training, and development to build a resilient team and maintain a strong talent pipeline. Conduct regular performance reviews to support individual growth.
  • Ensure that all purchasing and stores activities comply with Arla policies and relevant regulations/ You will source suppliers, obtain quotes, raise purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the department
What will you need to succeed?

You will be a highly motivated individual ideally with previous experience of working In a systems based warehousing environment using systems such as SAP, Oracle and Sage. You will have strong negotiation and communication skills, with a high attention to detail and a basic understanding of procurement regulations and best practises.
