Job description

The Traffic Manager role reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for ensuring that depot service level delivery and collection targets are achieved in line with budget whilst ensuring that we deliver the correct service level to all our Customers in adherence with company compliance processes.

  • Manage and produce daily and weekly reports as required.
  • Ensuring collection conformance to standards
  • Controls all key controls for vehicles.
  • Monitors and reviews operational performance and takes timely action to address any issues.
  • Ensure all company legal requirements are met.
  • Close management of sub-contractors to ensure an effective and efficient service is provided in line with budgeted cost.
  • Manage a robust pre-brief and de-brief process is maintained at all times.

Previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry is preferred. If you have previous experience of managing teams in fast-paced mail/distribution environments and have the ambition to develop your leadership skills, then we would love to hear from you.
