Reporting to the Regional Transport Manager, you will be responsible for delivering effective and efficient transport routes across multiple Sunbelt Rentals depots for a team of up to 10 drivers and 8 vehicles. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe operation of our transport activities, maintaining high safety standards for drivers, vehicles, and routes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Route efficiency: Lead review processes and ensure compliance to optimise van/LGV schedules and 3PL usage.
• Operational performance: Deliver performance targets aligned with KPIs such as on-time delivery, vehicle productivity (jobs per vehicle), accident reduction, vehicle uptime, and 100% POD and POC compliance.
• Proactive management: Reduce missed time-slots and late deliveries.
• Issue resolution: Address transport issues arising from customers and drivers.
• Driver communication: Conduct briefings and de-briefings with drivers.

This role requires passing a full, clean DBS check and providing a 5-year reference history.
