Role: Logistics Supervisor

Sector: Distribution / Material Supplies

Location: Kent - Chatham

Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 + Benefits - No Weekend Working!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Fleet Coordination and Route Planning
  • Maintain strong attention to detail
  • Manage ERP and Data
  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Working alongside the Logistics Manager, this role involves day-to-day coordination of company-owned lorries and a network of third-party logistics providers. The Logistics Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring that deliveries are completed accurately and on time, records are maintained, and the ERP system is kept up to date. This role requires strong teamwork, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset to help drive improvements in logistics performance and service delivery.

You should be able to multi-task and have great communication skills to ensure the right things are happening at the right time. This company offers high levels of service, and this must continue! You should be proactive and solution-oriented with excellent organisational skills and the ability to learn and develop as your role grows.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience working in logistics or transport coordination
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of Regulations and Compliance
  • Comfortable working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
