A recruitment agency is looking for a Logistics Stores Operator to work with a high-profile rolling stock company in Glasgow. The role involves managing materials, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Candidates must hold FLT Counterbalance and Reach licenses, along with experience in SAP or similar software. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and is based at Polmadie Train Care Centre with a potential one-year contract.
Rullion has an opportunity for a Logistics Stores Operator to work with a high-profile rolling stock company in Glasgow on a long-term contract. FLT Counterbalance & Reach forklift licenses, along with SAP or other stores software management experience, are required.
Location: Polmadie Train Care Centre - Glasgow.
Duration: One year, with potential extension based on client requirements.
Hours: Average of 37 hours per week.
Shift Pattern: Between 07:00 and 20:00, Monday to Friday.
Rates:
PPE will be provided by Rullion. This role is subject to strict Drugs & Alcohol policies and will require D&A testing prior to assignment.
Role: Work as part of the UK Logistics organisation, providing professional materials operational support. Key duties include receiving, controlling, and delivering materials to meet deadlines, performing general stores duties, and utilizing processes to ensure excellent service to internal and external customers. Use initiative and experience to improve processes in cost and service.
