Job description

Red Bull UK is currently recruiting for a Logistics Specialist to be based in London, UK.

Reporting into the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing logistics flows from Goods in to final mile delivery. This includes outbound capacity management, dispatch capability, forecasting storage and throughput, inventory management, and invoice processing. The role also involves managing direct-from-factory deliveries and reporting on key KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full). Additionally, support for the VISIT side of the business is required.

Job Description

  1. Outbound Capacity Management
  2. Own and manage outbound logistics to ensure daily capacity updates, full utilization of dispatch capability, and manage deviations vs. plan.
  3. Communicate requirements clearly to 3PL and Customer Service teams.
  4. Forecast long-term storage and throughput to support contract negotiations.
  5. Manage capacity plans around key pinch points (e.g., Easter, Christmas, stock takes).
  1. Direct-from-Factory Deliveries
  2. Manage deliveries from factories to various locations, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  3. Report on KPIs such as Service Level & OTIF, analyze root causes of failures, and recommend improvements.
  4. Collaborate with HQ to optimize utilization of this delivery route.
  1. Process Management
  2. Support the Order to Cash process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in order handling and invoicing.
  3. Work with customer service to ensure customer orders are aligned with requested delivery dates within capacity limits.
  4. Identify and lead continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
  5. Manage inventory, ensure system alignment, investigate discrepancies, and implement checks.
  6. Assist with Month End tasks, review invoices, and analyze cost deviations.
  1. Quality Monitoring and Field Samples
  2. Handle quality incidents promptly with 3PL partners.
  3. Collect and share monthly field samples with HQ quality departments.
  1. Day-to-Day Support & Continuous Improvement
  2. Perform regular logistics tasks and document SOPs.
  3. Implement automation (EDI, RPA) for efficiency gains.
  4. Work with service providers to improve customer offerings and reduce costs.
  5. Assess and improve logistics team processes, including Cost to Serve initiatives.
  6. Support team cross-training and participate in annual stock takes.

Qualifications

  • ERP experience, preferably SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Experience in FMCG logistics roles.
  • Experience managing 3PLs.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
