Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Specialist to join the Starline Team in Reading, UK.

What Will You Do?

Main Job Duties:

  • Responsible for liaising with the packers, CSS & other Legrand/Starline stakeholders of the export and import processing of Starline packed orders.
  • Requesting quotes from freight forwarders.
  • Arranging efficient and cost-effective domestic and international transport of goods and services.
  • Monitor shipment progress, maintaining the logistics track & trace and provide updates as and when required.
  • Prepare and review necessary import and export documentation ensuring accuracy and adherence to Customs regulations (Commercial Invoices, Packing list, etc.)
  • Liaise with 3PLs, Freight Forwarders and nominated agents.
  • Applying to Chamber of Commerce for Certificates of Origin, ATRs, EUR1 and other documents.
  • Issuing Import or Export instruction to Freight Forwarders.
  • Proactively review customer orders to ensure Logistics related information is provided in a timely manner.
  • Responsible to ensure all orders are shipped within agreed timelines.
  • Follow up with packing leads to check orders were dispatched as booked and order availability.
  • Provide support with other duties as and when required.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Education:

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Job Experience: 3-4 years logistics experience

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Proficient in Word & Excel
  • Experience in TEAMS/online meetings
  • Understanding of customs harmonized system
  • Team player
