Job description

An excellent opportunity has been created for an organised, customer focused logistics / shipping coordinator to join a world leading manufacturer and distributor of professional products based in Kidlington, Oxfordshire in a busy shipping department.

You need to be confident with the ability to prioritise your workload, possess good administrative & numeracy skills, and have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate well with the team and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Picking and packing goods and processing worldwide shipments by courier and freight forwarder
  2. Liaising with production and test teams
  3. Processing RMA receipts and distributing them
  4. General administrative duties
  5. Occasional driving and delivery jobs


Key Qualifications and Capabilities:

  1. Organised with a good attention to detail.
  2. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Computer literate
  4. Focused on providing a high standard of service to internal and external customers


Desirable:

  1. Knowledge of MRP/ERP system
  2. Experience of international trade and logistics
  3. Full and clean driving licence


This position is based in Kidlington, Oxfordshire with parking, 37.5 hours per week with flexible start times and 100% office based. They offer 24 days holiday increasing every 2 years, with the option to buy or sell holidays. The salary offered is £25k with a yearly discretionary annual bonus, plus a pension, life insurance, cycle to work scheme, company events, and free fruit.
