Job description

Global-e (Nasdaq: GLBE) is the world's leading platform to enable and accelerate global, direct-to-consumer cross-border e-commerce growth. The chosen partner of thousands of retailers and brands across the United States, Europe and Asia, Global-e makes selling internationally as simple as selling domestically. Through our comprehensive end-to-end solutions that combine the best-in-class localization capabilities, big-data business intelligence models and streamlined international logistics, we enable retailers and brands to increase international sales and achieve significant global online growth. Our people play the key role in our success, and we are always looking for more driven, talented and ambitious individuals to join our growing international team.

In 2024, we sold $402m of logistics services to our clients, which is 31% YoY growth. To support this growth, we are looking for a Logistics Sales Manager who will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless logistics solutions for our existing and potential global merchants, whilst driving business revenue.

You will support our Sales and Account Manager teams in driving adoption of Global-e's logistics services across its existing and new clients. The successful candidates will be familiar with different logistics operations used across the UK and Europe to identify the correct solution for the situation. You will be critical in articulating and selling this solution to the brand. You will be responsible for managing logistics-related aspects of both new and existing business opportunities, collaborating across functions, and acting as a key point of contact between technical and non-technical teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Evaluate and understand the logistics setup of merchants, identifying the most suitable Global-e solutions to optimise their international shipping processes.
  • Be a logistics subject matter expert for both internal teams (Sales, Account Managers, Solutions) and external stakeholders, providing guidance on logistics solutions and best practices for international expansion.
  • Work closely with Revenue and Professional Service teams to support new and existing business opportunities. Ensure that logistics-related concerns are addressed effectively throughout the sales cycle.
  • Act as the point of contact (POC) between technical and non-technical functions within the company, ensuring effective communication and smooth implementation of logistics solutions. This includes working with the technical teams to customise solutions based on merchant requirements and overseeing the practical execution of those solutions.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can do 'outside in' assessments based on internal knowledge to proactively identify solutions for brands.

Requirements:

  • 6 years+ experience in logistics management, supply chain, or a related field
  • Strong technical understanding of logistics operations and global shipping processes
  • Extensive knowledge in shipping and carrier offerings
  • Experience working with international merchants and eCommerce platforms
  • Ability to translate complex technical logistics concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs processes is a plus
