Job description

Logistics Quality Assurer

Location: Wolverhampton (with occasional UK travel)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: 16/05/2025
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role:

This newly created role offers the chance to lead on internal quality assurance across logistics apprenticeship programmes. You will ensure compliance with all internal and external standards, conduct observations, and support staff in maintaining excellence in learning, coaching, and assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct observations of workplace coaching, classroom teaching, and assessment delivery.
  2. Monitor learner journeys through interviews with students, employers, and mentors.
  3. Maintain accurate and timely records of all quality assurance and compliance activities.
  4. Ensure assessment documentation is up to date and fully compliant.
  5. Write sampling reports and provide detailed feedback following observations and reviews.

About You:

We're looking for a motivated and collaborative professional with a real passion for education and high standards. You'll need to have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support and inspire others to improve practice.

You should have:
  1. Internal Quality Assurance qualification (e.g., IQA award)
  2. Assessor qualification (e.g., A1, CAVA)
  3. Level 3 trade qualification (ideally in logistics or a related field)
  4. Minimum of 3 years' experience in quality assurance
  5. At least 3 years' experience in assessment, teaching or coaching
  6. Excellent knowledge of apprenticeships, compliance, and Ofsted frameworks
  7. Understanding of safeguarding and Prevent
  8. Full UK driving licence
