Job Description:

Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a logistics organisation based at London Gateway.

This is a full-time, permanent role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading major projects focused on automation, process efficiency, and operational development. Occasional travel across the UK will be required.

You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of key warehouse and logistics projects, ensuring smooth implementation of automation solutions and process improvements. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, external partners, and senior stakeholders to ensure project success and long-term business benefit.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the full project lifecycle for logistics and warehouse initiatives
  • Leading process improvement, customer onboarding, and system implementation projects
  • Overseeing vendor relationships and coordinating with automation technology providers
  • Driving change management across internal teams and ensuring smooth adoption
  • Monitoring KPIs and providing regular progress updates to leadership
  • Coordinating internal resources and cross-departmental input to meet key milestones

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in delivering projects within warehouse or logistics environments
  • Practical knowledge of automation systems and warehouse technology
  • Strong understanding of WMS platforms and project tracking tools
  • Confident leading teams and managing change in dynamic operations
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and working across departments
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement practices
  • Full UK driving licence

Salary: £40,000 – £70,000 per year, dependent on experience

Location: London Gateway (with flexibility for UK travel as needed)

Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 (flexibility required for project delivery, including occasional night shift cover)
